UPDATE UPDATE

We have been having some good turn outs. People have been coming out pretty regularly, and their bike are almost complete! We are glad to have some more participation. Art Basel was pretty awesome around the neighborhood. We lent out a small troupe of community bikes for those who came from out of town. The community bike project went well for it's first run and is now continuous. Those interested in borrowing out a bike can contact us on the firefly website or can try us at the house phone. We have been having tall bike workshops with the help of our new friend Chris. Four community tall bikes are in the works. We still need more people who are interested in being apart of the collective. We are also looking for different projects to work on or for people who want to put together workshops. We always welcome donations and want to meet other people who know how to write for grants that might want to lend us a hand. All and all
the bike collectives wallet is getting pretty thin. we are thinking about throwing another fundraiser? ...Any ideas? Let us know!

Hi Firefly -

I'll be visiting Miami from Chicago. I work for www.activetrans.org and play with www.westtownbikes.org. I'll only be around for a week, but surely willing to help out around the shop a bit in exchange for a loaner bike while I'm visiting. Didn't find an email or phone number here, but I'll keep looking. BTW - Got your link from David Henderson at FBA in response to some Miami bikeability and co-op questions.

BTW - if you have any Chicago friends, we've got lots of to-do's now: http://chicagocriticalmass.org/artshow

Thanks!
