CHANGES ON WORK DAYS!!!!

After our meeting it was decided that Sundays 4 to 7pm would work out better as a work day for more accessibility. We will not be open Thursday anymore. Sorry if this inconveniences anyone, but if you really need to get in this Thursday the 12th please email me at sleeperspeaks@riseup.net and we can work something out.

UPDATE / MEETING August 6 at 7pm

Thanks to all the volunteers, Bands, and bike collective members who made this fundraiser a success! We raised a good amount and will be purchasing a tool set. We accept donations on a regular basis, to donate please email sleeperspeaks@riseup.net. The bike collective will be open this thursday from 4-7. Then there will be a meeting to discuss possible work day change. If you would like to be a part of the bike collective please come to the meeting at 7. The meeting is
august 6 and should run about an hour. Thanks again to all who made the event possible!

Bike colective meeting update

We are keeping the Thursday as our meeting date. This week Thursday the 11th, we need everyone who can come out to help rebuild our roof. We are going to make a wooden roof, so we'll need as many hands as we could get. The Thursday of the 18th we will have a wheel truing workshop that to a very kind donation! Also we set a date for the bike collective fundraiser----> Friday July 3rd. If you know of any bands that might want to play, please let us know so we could get in contact with them.

Bike collective meeting!!!!!!!!!!

Lets meet, hang out, and make plans. We want to schedule work days, workshops, fundraisers, and a maintenance day.
Maybe there is a better day to meet? ( we want more people to show up)
Its would be nice to learn new skills. ( Maybe you could do a workshop)

- anything really
We still don't have enough funds to buy a tool set ( lets have an awesome FUNdraiser!)
And our roof caved in again ( we could schedule a day to fix the roof... permanently? with all this rain, a tarp roof just don't cut it! )

Planning a fundraiser

Hey everyone. The bike collective has been running smoothly since our last meeting. We've been able to turn out bikes on a weekly basis and hope to continue on this trend. We running low on funds and are planning our next fund raiser. If anyone has any ideas, we are open to them. We hope to make it a fun experience so bands, games, and other types of ideas are encouraged. This is our wish list. These are tools that we keep needing while doing a repair and would love to be able to finish bike completely here without trips to the bike shop. There is usually someone here to receive donations.
